Our Story: DanKalin by Mush and Green Ltd

DanKalin was born from a simple problem we couldn’t ignore: every harvest season, thousands of kilograms of potatoes and plantains rot on farms across Nigeria while urban households struggle with food affordability and quality.

Founded by Nkechi Gift Uzordima, DanKalin is more than a snack brand. We’re on a mission to fight post-harvest losses for rural farmers by turning surplus farm produce into nutritious, crunchy, shelf-stable snacks.

We work directly with farmers to buy fresh potatoes and plantains at fair prices before they spoil. In our facility, we clean, slice, and carefully process them into DanKalin Potato Chips and DanKalin Plantain Chips — no preservatives, just real ingredients and the natural crunch you can taste.

What started as a small operation is now a growing movement. Every pack of DanKalin you buy does two things: it gives you a clean, tasty snack you can trust, and it helps a farmer earn income instead of losing their harvest to waste.
